About me

‘We build who we are in the relation with others. The gaze of the other, and the interpretation we have made of it, contribute to writing our inner story. In part, psychotherapy is that interaction with the other, this time with the intention of writing a conscious story.’

For several years, I have been working with expatriates and migrants, offering services in both English and Spanish. This has led me to provide online consultations to various countries and to become a reference for international organizations. Common issues include the challenges inherent to a nomadic lifestyle, cultural intersections, working in highly demanding organizations, and being away from loved ones.

In my practice, I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families. People often contact me for help with depression, anxiety, adaptation difficulties, grief, stress, burnout, or relationship conflicts. I also handle more severe cases such as obsessions and compulsions or post-traumatic stress. My approach is integrative, which means I draw from different perspectives depending on the specific goals you bring to the consultation and what you need. As Jung said, the shoe that fits one person pinches another.

My experience in addressing the clinical and life challenges of so many people reinforces my belief that well-being goes far beyond the absence of illness. This is how I approach psychotherapy, with a dual focus depending on the specific needs: from illness to personal development, from depression, anxiety, and disorders to the development of a sense of purpose.

On a personal level, you will find me to be a professional, genuine person who listens with acceptance. Paying atention to what you say, what’s being omitted, your predominant themes. But also to your tone, your gesture and maybe even the efort or lack of it in our interactions. I tend to look for patterns and will point them out when relevant to your goals and wellbeing. You will find support in me, and confrontation when deemed needed. You will find respect.

If you’ve come to this space, you may be going through a tough time or know someone who needs support. I hope you find the help you seek here.
